Lydia and Mac's Lake Geneva Private Estate Wedding Photography
When Lydia met Mac, she had a feeling that he was a guy she should take some risks for. When Mac's job transferred him to the coast, Lydia decided to invest into life with Mac and she went with him. And she learned along the way that she was everything to him as he asked her to spend her life with him, no matter where life took them.
A wedding inspired by kate spade and champagne
When we first met these two, Lydia envisioned an ethereal, relaxed garden inspiration, with a flowing gown and soft floral touches. And then she found the dress. It may have been the furthest thing from relaxed and flowing, but Lydia's structured and elegant mermaid cut gown with embellished neckline fit her so perfectly, I can understand why she changed directions!
Lydia followed up her gown purchase with a visit to my dearly beloved kate spade for accessories and gifts for her girls and her wedding vision took shape in the form of black tie elegance with hints of kate spade and champagne (not the color...the drink-Lydia LOOOOOVES her champers!).
A sentimental lakefront wedding
Lydia wanted time to finish photos early so she could hide away and watch the guest find their seats on the lakefront. During that time, she watched Mac greet guests, smiled, laughed, and admired the Dom Perignon bottle he had sent up to her. Every bride should have the opportunity to enjoy those quiet moments of appreciation like she did! It was such a beautiful time!
After their lakefront ceremony, Lydia and Mac surprised their bridal party with transportation to the reception in the form of a cruise! They laughed, snapped photos, and drank champagne as they quite literally rode off into the sunset. (I got to go along and it was the highlight of my day!)
Lydia and Mac, you guys are so full of life and love. Mac, your toast to Lydia at the end of the night was one of the most romantic things I've heard. Keep on loving each other deeply and thank you for allowing us to make beautiful photos on your day.
